visitor’s day
It is great to see colleagues from school outside of….school. Today my department chair and my principal came to the institute to check it out. Not sure they get the complete picture of how much work is entailed in this summer project, but it was a wonderful stamp of approval for them to come and see how much gets invested into UIWP.
I am luck to work in a building where true teaching is valued. Although we don’t always agree on documentation, we surely agree on the process, what it takes to be a good teacher, what it takes to truly help students understand material. I am lucky indeed.
Unit 4 has suffered from a top down approach to education for years, the recent changes in philosophy indicate a move in the right direction. Progress is important. Thanks Joe and Gary for checking out our program:)
